Hello there !
My name is Jack Wilkie, I am a powerlifting coach, I myself compete, I love Coffee, I love my dog, I have been coaching for almost 3 years and in that time have helped 100’s of people in their fitness journeys. I also love educating people in all things Strength, health and fitness.
More often then not people are scared to come into the gym due to feelings of anxiety and inadequacy. I find that these feelings often stem from a lack of knowledge surrounding exercise, in particular how to train in the gym. This shatters me, gym is something that for me has been a pillar in my life since a young age, it brings me an indescribable amount of happiness, makes me feel confident and has brought at least 90% of my closest friends into my life.
Going to the gym is more then just exercise for me.
The goal for this Substack is to share my knowledge with you in the hopes that the next time you enter the gym you feel capable and confident, not anxious because you don’t know what to do.
It is for these reasons that I have decided to start this Substack !
